Letters to the Editor
The agreement between Nepal's Seven-Party Alliance and Maoist leader Prachanda should be an eye-opener to the Maoists in India. Naxalites criticise the Left parties for their participation in elections. Maoists in Nepal, on the other hand, have decided to become part of mainstream politics. They participated along with other parties in the people's struggle whereas in India the naxals are confined to the forests. They need to take a lesson or two from their Nepalese counterparts and come forward to wage struggles along with the people against evils such as globalisation.
