No power supply tomorrow

SHIMOGA: There will be no power supply in the following areas in the city from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday in view of urgent maintenance work at the 110:11 kV Electricity Distribution Stations at Alkola and Mandli, according to a release from the Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) on Thursday.

Areas to be affected under the Alkola Electricity Distribution Station are: Vinobanagar, Ravindranagar, Hosmane, Sharavathy Nagar, Basaweshwar Nagar, Engineering College, J.H. Patel Extension, Kanaka Extension, Navule, P & T Colony, Devraj Urs Extension, Priyadarshini Extension, Kashipur, Gopala, Swamy Vivekandanda Extension, Tippunagar, Annanagar, B.H.Road, Private Bus Stand Area, Ghadikoppa, Malligenahalli, Tyavarekoppa, Siddapur, Koteganguru, Muttinakoppa, Srirampur, Basavanaganguru, Dekatikoppa, Gejjenahalli, Durgigudi, Mission Compound, Auto Complex and Industrial Estate on Sagar Road.

Areas to be affected under the Mandli Electricity Distribution Station are: N.T. Road, New Mandli, Old Mandli, Harakere, Gopishettikoppa, RML Nagar, Millaghatta, Annanagar, Sawaipalya, Kalluru Mandli Industrial Estate, K.R.Water Supply Works, KSRTC Bus Stand area, Gajanur Water Works, Buddhanagar, Hosahalli, Basavapur, Raminakoppa, Anupinakatte, Purdalu, Aihole, Garden Area, parts of the Nehru Road and parts of BH Road.
