Tulu-speaking course to begin in July

  • Participants will have to pay Rs. 250 for the entire course

    MANGALORE: The Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy will begin its three-month Tulu speaking course in the second week of July, according to a release.

    A two-hour session will be conducted twice in a week in the city and in Udupi.

    Government and private hospital employees including nurses and doctors, housewives, students, businessmen, workers and people in other profession can avail the benefits of this course.

    The classes will begin after 6 p.m. on specified days.

    The course will focus on teaching functional Tulu.

    Participants will have to pay Rs. 250 for the entire course (for three months). The last date to apply to the academy is July 7.

    This will be the second batch, which is being taught spoken Tulu. One batch completed the three-month course recently. Details can be had from its Registrar on 2459389.
