TNEB workers plea

CHENNAI: A panel should be set up to go into the issue of promotion of officials working at hydro and thermal power stations and general construction circles. A resolution to this effect was adopted at a meeting of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Workers' Progressive Union recently.

The Union also wanted regularisation of services of all the contract workers.
