Two roads made one-way for underpass construction on Magadi Road

BANGALORE: To ensure smooth completion of underpass construction at the Magadi Chord Road junction in Vijayanagar, the city police have imposed certain traffic restrictions for vehicles proceeding between Vijayanagar and Yeshwanthpur through this site.

All vehicles moving from Vijayanagar to Yeshwantpur should take a left turn at Magadi Road P & T Junction, proceed on P & T Road before taking a right turn towards Magadi road at Veeresha cinema.

From this road, the vehicles will again have to take a left turn at Industrial Town Junction and again a right turn to join the West of Chord Road's western service road.

BMTC buses proceeding towards Kempe Gowa bus station should take a left turn at P & T Junction, take the western service road, turn right near Shanimahatma temple and again take a left turn at M.C. Circle and proceed further. This route has been made a one-way.

Vehicles moving from Magadi Road through Jai Munirao Circle, Vijayanagar and Mysore Road to City Market side should take the 8th cross M.C. Layout Vijayanagar Road and join the Magadi Chord road by taking a left turn near Gayatri Hospital.

For vehicles from Yeshwanthpura to Vijayanagar, the city police has made it mandatory to take a left turn at Industrial Estate Junction on West of Chord Road and again a right turn at the Industrial Gate and move forward on the road near the Magadi Road Police Quarters.

They should then take a left turn near Pipe Line junction and move on the Eastern Service road and take a left at Adichunchanagiri Kalyanamantapa Junction, join West of Chord road and proceed towards Vijayanagar. This route will also be a one-way.
