Chef held on theft charge

HYDERABAD:
A chef was arrested by the Afzalgunj police on Thursday on the charge of stealing suitcases at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS).
B. Adinarayana of Fatehnagar was nabbed while he was trying to sell `stolen' gold jewellery at Siddiambazaar. Gold ornaments and other goods worth over Rs. 3 lakhs were recovered from his possession. According to the police, the modus operandi of Adinarayana was to board RTC buses by posing himself as a commuter, steal suitcases by diverting the attention of other passengers and hand them over to his accomplice C.
