`Eco-friendly' bleaching system for garment units

COIMBATORE: Envirolyte Aquasolution Pvt. Ltd. - India has introduced electro chemical activation technology for the bleaching units in this region. According to a release from AAA Associates, who represent the company in this region, this chemical free technology was tried in a bleaching unit and found to reduce the amount of total dissolved solids (TDS) in the effluents. This method is the process of passing a diluted saline solution through an Envirolyte reactor to generate `Aquasol' solutions, the release said. The company plans to try this method in dyeing units too.
