25 injured in series of grenade blasts in J&K

SRINAGAR: At least 25 persons, including 10 security men, were injured in a series of grenade blasts in Jammu and Kashmir. Two militants were killed in separate gunbattles. Besides four grenade attacks — three in Srinagar and one in Doda district — militants strangled a civilian, and shot and critically injured a policeman here, a police spokesman said on Friday.

A grenade attack took place at Rech Chowk in the Batmaloo area here on Thursday evening. Two CRPF personnel, manning a picket in the busy area, were injured. — PTI
