HUBLI: Thirteen houses were partially damaged following heavy rain that lasted for more than two hours in Hubli on Friday evening. However, nobody was injured. Due to the downpour, several low-lying areas in the city were flooded causing inconvenience to the residents. The residents of Heggeri Colony, especially those adjacent to the storm water drain, had a difficult time as the drainage water entered their houses. The staff of Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation and the personnel of Emergency and Fire Services were pressed into service.
