Awards given away to chemists

IN CONVERSATION: Minister for Agriculture Marketing Sharanabasappa Darshanapur having a word with Basavaraj Bhimalli, president of the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society, at a function organised by Gulbarga District Chemists and Druggists Associat ion on Saturday.

GULBARGA: Agriculture Marketing Minister Sharanabasappa Darshanapur on Saturday gave away "Seva Ratna Prashasti" to more than 75 chemists and druggists in the district.

The function was organised by Gulbarga District Chemists and Druggists Association. A blood donation campaign was also organised on the occasion. A cardiac check-up and diabetic detection camp was organised by doctors of Basaveshwar Teaching and General Hospital and Blood Bank.

Shaha of Swastic Medical Stores, Aland; Shivareddy Cheddy of Venkatesh Medical Stores; Chincholi; Shankarappa Kinagi of Venkatesh Medical Stores, Gulbarga; Janardhan J. Kosgi of Venkatesh Medical Stores, Surpur; Raghavendra of the Venkateshwar Medical Stores Saidapur, Yaddgir, and Vijay kumar of the Vijay Medical stores, Sedam.

Basavaraj Bhimalli, president of the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society participated.
