Awareness camp on brain stroke today

GUNTUR: Identifying `Transient Ischemic Attack,' a warning bell for brain stroke, is crucial in prevention of occurrence of stroke that attacks two persons every minute in our country, but all of them are preventable provided treated in time.

During the World Stroke Day celebrations here on Saturday at the Lalitha Super Specialty Hospital, Dr. P. Vijaya said that only one in four persons are aware about the risk factors of the stroke.

The hospital will conduct an awareness camp on Sunday on the hospital premises from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
