Five new subways, railway overbridges

CHENNAI:
After a slumber of sorts, things are hotting up on the traffic management front in the city. The Chennai Corporation and Southern Railway authorities are expediting paper work to start work on five new subways and railway overbridges.
Some engineers of the Corporation though are treading carefully over the developments. No one is going to forget the criminal charges they faced when the previous AIADMK government took up the flyovers constructed during M.K. Stalin's Mayorship of Chennai. Top officials are spending their time giving assurances that nothing untoward would happen.
