Mobile electrical maintenance unit launched

KOLLAM: Deputy Chief Engineer of the KSEB Kollam Circle K. Radhakrishnan formally launched an emergency mobile electrical maintenance unit in the private sector here. The unit maintained by the R.S. Electricals will cater to the internal electrical fault repairs of the KSEB consumers.

Reportedly the first of its kind to start operations in Kerala, the unit strives at complementing the KSEB in rectifying power supply interruptions to the consumers. All outside and general power failure complaints will continue to be answered and attended to by the KSEB's own mobile units.

For internal power supply faults consumers can contact the unit at Ph: 9847703997 and 9847803997. Manager of the unit R.S. Nahas said the service is being extended for a nominal fee. But for Government offices, police stations, hospitals and the Fire Force, the service will be free-of-cost.
