Remuneration for poll duty up

HYDERABAD: The Government has on the basis of 2005 PRC recommendations increased remuneration for employees on duty for the panchayat raj polls, the Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Federation said in a press release on Saturday. TA and DA rates too have been revised.

Orders from Panchayati Raj Commissioner on Friday said employees undertaking poll duty would get a minimum of Rs. 216 for two days depending on distances involved.

It would be Rs. 316 for three and Rs. 416 for four days.
