MLAs urged to help daily wage workers

MANGALORE: The Karnataka State Government Daily Wage Employees' Federation has appealed to elected representatives, especially those from the BJP and Janata Dal (Secular), to help nearly 30,000 daily wage employees who face immediate retrenchment.

Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, K.S. Sharma, president of the federation, said an indefinite dharna would be started at Malleswaram Grounds, Bangalore, on Monday.
