Pre-counselling guidance programme today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram edition of the pre-counselling guidance programme for engineering/ medical courses aspirants organised by The Hindu will be held at AKG Hall on Sunday. The session will begin at 9 a.m.

This is for the third consecutive year that The Hindu is organising the programme. Spot registration facility is provided at the venue for students who could not register names in advance. It will get under way at 8.15 a.m.

Those who have availed themselves of the online facility for registering names should produce the record of registration and remit the fee at the venue.

Those participating in the programme will be provided, free of cost, a handbook containing articles on the counselling programme, engineering/ medical courses, number of seats available and the career prospects of these courses.

The Hindu has organised pre-counselling guidance programmes in Kozhikode on June 22 and Kochi on June 24. The programme is being organised in association with the State Bank of Travancore.

This year, The Hindu is organising similar events in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
