Podium finish for Karun

New Delhi: Karun Chandhok clinched two podium finishes to move to second position in the Asia Formula Renault V6 motor sports championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this weekend.

The 22-year old, driving for E-Rain Racing, finished second and third at the Sepang F-1 Circuit in rounds three and four to jump two places up from his previous position after the first two rounds, a release said here today.

The results: Round 3: 1. Hammad Al Fardan, Bahrain; 2. Seth Ingham, USA; 3. Karun Chandhok, India.

Round 4: 1. Matt Halliday, New Zealand; 2. Chandhok; 3. Ingham. — PTI
