Coimbatore: A total of 245 high school and higher secondary school teachers received transfer orders at the conclusion of two days of counselling conducted at the CSI Boys Higher Secondary School, here on Sunday. P.A. Naresh, Chief Educational Officer, told The Hindu that 60 teachers, who sought transfers from other districts, received their orders for the academic year 2006-07. There were eight post-graduate assistants, 14 BT assistants, five Tamil pandits, 22 secondary grade teachers and 11 specialist teachers. On Saturday, a total of 185 high school and higher secondary school teachers had received transfer orders.
