PATHANAMTHITTA: Activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) will block rail traffic at the Thiruvalla railway station on Monday, demanding immediate withdrawal of the hike in the prices of petroleum products and in protest against the `anti-people' policies of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre. In a statement issued here on Saturday, the DYFI district president Roy Philip and district secretary R. Sanalkumar called upon the UPA Government to comply with the promises given to the common people during the Lok Sabha elections.
