Representatives of U.K. varsities to visit Chennai

CHENNAI: Representatives of the U.K. universities are scheduled to visit Campus UK's Chennai office for September 2006 intake this week.

Wayne Henry, Director International Office, University of East Anglia-Based in Norwich, and Sasha Anderson, International Officer, will be available at the office on June 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Majority of departments have achieved "Excellent" ratings, and the last research assessment exercise placed the university among the top research varsities in the U.K. The university also offers up to 50 per cent scholarship for eligible Indian students.

University of Wales, Newport, is known for offering their MBA programmes for fresh graduates. Besides their MBA programme they also offer Design (Media & Technology), Animation, Psychology, Health Sciences etc. University of Newport and Campus UK offer joint scholarships besides regular scholarships being offered by the university to international students.

Sally-Anne Awcock, International Officer, will be available on July 1 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
