Killed in road accident

BANGALORE: Vasanth Kumar (33), who was riding a motorcycle, died on the spot when a truck ran over him in the Kamakshipalya Police Station limits on Saturday.

The victim, hailing from Bylaknoenahalli, was returning home from Makohalli.

When he approached Mallathalli Gate on Magadi Road on the Outer Ring Road, he skidded and fell on the road, the police said.

The truck ran over the rider killing him instantaneously, the police said.

The police have arrested the truck driver Mani Sudhakar from Andhra Pradesh.
