BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will start admission round seat selection process from Monday. Seat selection for the physically challenged will be taken up first. This will be followed by that for candidates of the National Cadets Corps and sports categories. The medical examination of physically challenged candidates will be held at 10.30 a.m. on June 26, a release said. Eligible candidates will take part in the selection of 149 seats under the medical, dental, engineering, Indian System of Medicines and Homeopathy (ISMH) disciplines. On Tuesday, documents of candidates under the NCC category will be verified. Eligible candidates will take part in the process of choosing from 21 seats allotted under the category on Wednesday. Verification of documents of candidates under sports category will be held on Thursday. The process of selecting 28 seats allotted under the category will be held on Friday. The fee structure for seats in Government colleges is as follows: medical ( Rs. 16,200); dental (Rs. 13,900); engineering (Rs. 17,590) and IMSH (Rs. 8,090). The fee structure for seats in private aided colleges is as follows: engineering (Rs. 17,590); and ISMH (Rs. 11,090). Students had been asked to pay the prescribed fee in the form of a demand draft/ pay order in favour of the "Special Officer, CET Cell, Bangalore," it said.
