Kannada, English versions of `Gandhi Upanishad'

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Government is planning to set up 10 educational institutes on the outskirts of the city, said Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy here on Monday.

The institutes would be ready by the next academic year, he added.

Releasing the Kannada and English versions of "Gandhi Upanishad" and "Yakshaprashne", authored by Mathoor Krishnamurti, Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the Chief Minister extolled Gandhian values.

"However, it is a bit difficult to apply them in every day life," he added. Later talking to presspersons about his two-day trip to Singapore, Mr. Kumaraswamy said he had been invited by the Singapore Government to look at the country's water recycling process.
