First Leasing announces 22.5 per cent dividend
CHENNAI:
First Leasing Company of India Ltd. has reported a total income of Rs. 106.50 crore in the year ended March 31, 2006, against Rs. 109.52 crore in the previous year. The net profit stood at Rs. 27.10 crore against Rs. 24.10 crore, a rise of 12.4 per cent. The cost of external borrowings was lower by 100 basis points during the year. The directors have recommended a dividend of 22.5 per cent for the financial year under reference. The company's net worth grew noticeably to Rs. 192.68 crore from Rs. 171.42 crore.
