Pyramid Saimira in pact with Karnataka Govt.

CHENNAI: Pyramid Saimira Theatre Chain in Karnataka was launched by the Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy on Monday. P. S. Saminathan, Managing Director, Pyramid Saimira, said in a release that Pyramid Saimira plans to have 200 screens fully operational before December 2006 in Karnataka. The company will convert all these theatres into digital, which will have a 2-way broadband connectivity and do a satellite broadcast of films. These theatres will also function as Family Entertainment Centres.
