Bank of India scheme for goldsmiths

MUMBAI: Bank of India has launched a novel scheme called Star Swarnakar Suvidha Scheme, under which it will provide loans in the form of gold directly to jewellery manufacturers. The bank will finance jewellery manufacturers, provide skill development programmes in collaboration with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and tie-up with retailers for sale, a release issued by the bank said here on Monday.
