KOZHIKODE: The on-campus, online counselling for admission to the B.Tech./B.Arch. programmes in 19 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other Centrally funded institutions in the country will begin on June 28. In a press release here on Monday, T.K. Sureshbabu, Chairman (Admissions), National Institute of Technology, Calicut, said all eligible candidates should attend the online counselling programme as per the schedule given on www.ccb.nic.in / www.nitc.ac.in. Candidates have been advised to report at the Aryabatta Hall of NIT-C here at 8 a.m. with necessary documents, including a DD for Rs.5,000 drawn in favour of `CCB Delhi' payable at Delhi (Rs.2,000 in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates) and original documents such as AIEEE [All India Engineering Entrance Examination] admit card, AIEEE rank card, proof of qualifying examinations and State eligibility (Plus Two mark list and pass certificate), category certificate (for SC/STs), proof of date of birth and passport to prove the State eligibility for candidates studied abroad. Candidates who report for counselling on Day One are advised to visit the counselling centre on Day Two to know the result and collect the allotment letter. For this, four copies of a recent passport-size photograph of the candidate are required. The counselling procedure and the refund rules are available on the Central Counselling Board website www.ccb.nic.in.
