ANANTAPUR: The District and Sessions Court on Monday adjourned the Paritala Ravindra murder case, which is in the procedure of commencement of trial, to July 17 as no accused in the case were produced in the court due to pre-occupation of the police with election duties. Even the main accused in the case G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, lodged in the district jail at Reddypalli near here, was not produced by the jail authorities in the court due to non-availability of vehicles and police escort. Another 12 accused persons in the case including alleged main shooter J. Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu, lodged in Cherlapally and Chanchalguda jails in Hyderabad, were also not produced in the court for the same reason. Accordingly, Judge S. Chinnaiah adjourned the case to July 17. Meanwhile, counsel for Central Bureau Investigation (CBI), investigating the case, Suryanarayana, also produced a few forensic reports and details of phone calls made by the accused persons before and after the murder of Ravindra.
