Army recruitment rally in Mysore from July 6

BANGALORE: An army recruitment rally will be held from July 6 to 8 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Mysore for the categories of soldier (general duty), clerks/store-keepers, nursing assistants, soldier (technical) and tradesman.

Those seeking the post of soldier (general duty) should have a minimum qualification of SSLC/Matric with minimum 45 per cent marks in aggregate with a minimum height, chest and weight of 166 cm, 77 cm and 50 kg respectively. They should be in the age group of seventeen-and-a-half to 21. For soldier clerks/store-keepers, candidates should have PUC/10+2 pass with minimum 50 per cent aggregate. The age should be between seventeen-and-a-half and 23 for clerks/store-keepers, nursing assistants and soldier (technical). Candidates should report at 6 a.m. with original certificates, marksheets, 12 passport size photographs, and domicile, character and caste certificates.
