SIDBI Venture Capital invests in Direct Logistics

CHENNAI:
Direct Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., a global freight forwarding and logistics company, has announced that it has received Rs. 10 crore as the first round of funding from SIDBI Venture Capital Limited, the venture capital arm of Small Industries Development Bank of India.
According to Sunil Devrani, Managing Director, Direct Logistics, the amount would be used for expanding the company's existing operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Taiwan. The company is also planning to enter unventured territories in Central Asia (Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan).
