Sri Lankan vanaspati to hit Indian market

NEW DELHI: The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation on Tuesday said the first consignment of imported vanaspati from Sri Lanka would hit the Indian market next month, "We have invited offers for vanaspati, bakery shortening and margarine imports from Sri Lanka,'' NAFED Managing Director Alok Ranjan told reporters.
