TIRUMALA: The Mumbai Andhra Mahasabha has come forward to donate two acres of land under its fold to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam for the construction of a multipurpose complex. The complex would consist of a TTD Information Centre, Kalyana Mandapam, Committee Hall and other infrastructure facilities for the benefit of native Mumbaikars. The market value of the land situated in a prime locality is put around Rs. 60 crores. Tirumala-based Special Officer of TTD, A.V. Dharma Reddy on Tuesday flew to Mumbai for a personal inspection of the site and working out the formalities for its takeover.
