Film directors' date with CM
SALUTING AN ARTIST: Members of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Council met Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at his residence.
The Tamil Nadu Film Directors Council met the Chief Minister at his residence recently and sought a date to hold a function to felicitate him.
Director S.A. Chandresekaran said that meeting the Chief Minister was a joy.
"He remembered each of us by name, and heard us out when we told him our grievances. The meeting was a success for all of us. Directors K.S. Ravikumar, Kasturi Raaja, Saran, Balaji Sakthivel, Madesh, P. Vasu, E. Ramdoss, C. Ranganathan, Ameer Khan and T.K. Shanmugasundaram were present at the meeting. We all savoured his wit and puns."
