Honour for INTUC leader Adyanthaya

Bangalore: N.M. Adyanthaya has been elected vice-president of the 95th International Labour Conference (ILC) of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Mr. Adyanthaya, who is from Karnataka, is the vice-president of the INTUC. The ILC was held in Geneva from the May 31 to June 16. "It is for the first time that a vice-president, representing workers, has been elected from India.

Before this, only Naval Tata, representing the employers, was elected vice-president," Mr. Adyanthaya said here on Wednesday.
