CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala, coastal Karnataka, at many places over Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over Lakshadweep and interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu.

FORECAST (valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala, Lakshadweep, coastal Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka and at a few places over Telangana, Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over Kerala coastal Karnataka and coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 48 hours.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until the morning of 30th June 2006): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
