DEHRA DUN: In a significant move aimed at winning over voters before the Uttaranchal Assembly elections due early next year, the State Cabinet has raised the job quota for women from 20 per cent to 30 per cent. In another decision, the Cabinet decided to experiment on an innovative system of billing and distribution of power bills through private contractors.
