Bipasha Basu opens Khazana showrooms

Bangalore: Khazana, the jewellers from Chennai, opened two showrooms here on Wednesday. Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu inaugurated the outlets on Commercial Street and at Jayanagar 3rd Block.

Khazana, who have been present in Tamil Nadu for over 10 years and in Andhra Pardesh for the past one year, offer gold jewellery certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards with the "hallmark" on all items. Their other showrooms are in Mumbai and Kolkata. The management of Kahazana said they did not add any "making charges" and customers only paid for the price of gold, working out to about Rs. 40 less per gram compared to most other jewellery shops. While the average gold rate prevailing at most jewellers now at Rs. 845 per gram, Khazana charged only Rs. 805. The opening of the two showrooms coincides with the marriage season.
