`Government not aware of LTTE request'

NEW DELHI: Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that the Government was not aware of any request by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) to stop the supply of military equipment to Sri Lanka. "We have not heard of any such request," Mr. Mukherjee said when asked whether the LTTE had raised this issue with the Government.
