Insurance scheme for ryots' welfare: Minister

CHITTOOR : The State Government is implementing health insurance scheme for the welfare of farmers, Agriculture Minister Raghuveera Reddy said at an election meeting held at Bangarupalem 15 km from here on Wednesday night. He said that works on Galeri - Nagari and Hundri - Neeva projects would be taken up within two months. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had not spent a pie in his native Chittoor district on construction of irrigation projects. In the elections to local bodies the TDP candidates will lose their deposits, leave alone winning the election, he pronounced.

Speaking on the occasion chief whip Kiran Kumar Reddy explained in detail about several developmental and welfare activities implemented by the present Government for the people.

Later, a rally was held in which Mr. Raghuveera Reddy, Kiran Kumar Reddy and other contesting candidates of ZPTC and MPTC participated.
