Expedite recovery of Krushi depositors' funds: YSR

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has instructed Cooperation Department officials to expedite the recovery of Krushi Bank depositors' funds and directed the police to assist them. Appreciating the police for extradition of bank's chairman Kosaraju Venkateswara Rao, he said the efforts would bear fruit only when all the funds were recovered and distributed among "helpless and poor depositors," according to a press release from the Chief Minister's Office. Reviewing the current status of Krushi Cooperative Bank affairs, he said that every hard-earned rupee of the depositors should reach them and declared that he would do all that was necessary to ensure it.
