THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devaswom Minister G. Sudhakaran has declined to comment on the controversy regarding the Kannada actor-producer Jayamala's claim that she had entered the sanctum sanctorum of the Sabarimala temple and touched the Ayyappa idol sometime back. Replying to questions on the Sabarimala master plan in the Assembly on Thursday, Mr. Sudhakaran declined to comment on the controversy. When the Congress member Babu Prasad raised the issue, the Minister said the actor had nothing to do with the master plan and hence could not comment on it. When the Janadhipathya Samarakshana Samithy member K.K. Shaju asked whether the Government was aware of any conspiracy in connection with the `devaprasnom' held in Sabarimala recently, Mr. Sudhakaran said the Government was not a party to any conspiracy. If the Travancore Devaswom Board has any complaints, the Government will look into it.
