KARIMNAGAR: Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB), which has launched a special drive for the recovery of long pending loans from the farmers, had been successful with a recovery percentage of 68.22 per cent till date. Disclosing this to newsmen here on Thursday, DCCB chairman, K Ravinder Rao said that against the total dues of Rs. 170.20 crores, the bank had collected Rs. 116.11 crore including Rs. 106.98 crores short term loans and Rs. 9.12 crore long-term loans. He said that the Karimnagar Bank was placed in the fifth position in recovery of long pending loans from defaulters. He said that still they have to recover a balance amount of Rs. 54.08 crores from the defaulters.
