K.P.K. Kumaran files nomination papers

CHENNAI: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate for the Rajya Sabha by-elections K.P.K. Kumaran filed his nomination at the Secretariat here on Thursday. Chief Electoral Officer Naresh Gupta received the nomination.

Senior Ministers Durai Murugan, M.K. Stalin and Veerapandi K. Arumugham were among those present.

Mr. Kumaran later met Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in his chamber and greeted him.

A press note from the CEO said that so far two people had filed papers at the end of the fourth day of filing nominations.
