Refresher course

Academic Staff College, University of Hyderabad, is organising a refresher course in mathematics from July 12 to August 2, 2006.

Holiday on July 1

Saturday has been declared as a public holiday for all Government offices, local bodies, schools and institutions in which polling station/distributing centres are located for conduct of mandal and zilla parishad elections in 33 mandals of Ranga Reddy district. Elections are being held on July 2 which is Sunday.

Workshop on nutrition

Nutrition scientists discussed the components to be taken up in the `All-India coordinated research project on home science foods and nutrition' for the 11th plan at a two-day workshop began here on Thursday.

Former directors of National Institute of Nutrition and others addressed participants, according to a press release.
