SEZ for naxalites' export ?

HYDERABAD: Is there a Special Economic Zone in Andhra Pradesh from where naxalites are exported to other States? Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh felt so on Thursday.

"This SEZ is exporting naxalites to neighbouring States," Mr. Ramesh said, and pointed out that the Chattisgarh Governor and the Chief Minister had personally told him that all the extremists operating there spoke Telugu.

The Maoists from Andhra Pradesh had successfully exported their cadres to Chattisgarh, he said, and felt that land alienation was a root cause of naxalism in the

State.
