Man robbed of rings, phone

BANGALORE:
An armed gang robbed Govinda Gowda (49) of two gold rings, a mobile phone and Rs. 300 in cash at HIG Colony in Sanjay Nagar police station limits on Wednesday.
The police said that on his way to his Lottegollahalli house, Govinda Gowda stopped his car at HIG Colony as he felt uncomfortable because of giddiness. Two armed men reportedly threatened him and robbed him of the cash and other valuables, in all valued at Rs. 35,000.
Burglary
Thieves made away with gold ornaments estimated at Rs. 45,000 from a software engineer's house at NRI Layout in Ramamurthynagar police station limits on Wednesday. The police said Vijayendra Kumar and his wife had left for work without properly locking the main door of their house when the crime took place.
