Bid to facilitate High Capacity Bus Service

Revised estimate for road sanctioned

NEW DELHI:
To give a boost to the much talked about High Capacity Bus Service project, the Delhi Government's Expenditure Finance Committee on Thursday sanctioned Rs.153.05 crore for re-engineering and re-designing the 14.5 km stretch from Ambedkar Nagar to Delhi Gate. It also sanctioned Rs.125 crore for construction of a flyover at Naraina on Ring Road.
These decisions were taken at a meeting of EFC headed by Urban Development Minister A.K. Walia. Briefing newsmen, he said EFC had sanctioned a revised estimate of Rs.153.05 crore for 14.5 km long road re-engineering to facilitate High Capacity Bus Service from Ambedkar Nagar to Delhi Gate
