CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been active over Kerala and Telangana.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and coastal Karnataka, at many places over Telangana and Lakshadweep and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at a few places over Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over north coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 48 hours and Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over coastal and south interior Karnataka, Telangana, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala during the same period.
