RSP urges Manmohan to review security clearance given to Jet, Naresh Goyal

    NEW DELHI: The Revolutionary Socialist Party has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to review the security clearance hurriedly given to Jet Airways and its chairman Naresh Goyal.Abani Roy, Rajya Sabha member of the RSP, also demanded that the Government initiate legislation to set up an independent regulatory body to monitor technical, security and economic aspects of civil aviation.

    In a letter to the Prime Minister, Mr. Roy wondered why civil aviation remained the only sector without a regulator.
