VIJAYAWADA: A college student died under mysterious circumstances after he fell down from the second floor of the college building on Mahatma Gandhi Road on Friday. The police said that the boy committed suicide and he wrote a note addressed to his mother. Mohammed Asif (17) joined Sri Chaitanya Junior College's M.G. Road campus last week. He got admission to senior Intermediate with MPC group. Students and lecturers heard a crackling sound of the breaking of a glass windowpane and saw Asif in a pool of blood in the portico. The college management informed the police, who reached there and took Asif to a private hospital. As doctors refused to admit him, the police shifted Asif to Government General Hospital around 11.35 a.m. However, the doctors declared him "brought dead."
